Invasion (Christian)

A supernatural alarm call…

Normally I would have been waking to my usual alarm, and slumping out of bed for my paper round. Today I wake up and I see a flash light, bright, almost blinding me. Next thing I knew, aliens were coming into my house seeking something. I ask them, trembling, “what do you want?” they reply “we want you”. I ran as fast as I could but they took me to their hovercraft and probed me for clues. They were looking for something they had hidden on Earth a long time ago. Something I had seen before.

What an exciting story, well done, Christian. I would love to know what the aliens were looking for and I hope the poor narrator didn’t suffer too much as they tried to find it. Be careful with the tense, you kept changing and it was a little hard to follow. The excellent adjectives made the story seem very real. Well done, I hope to read more of your writing.
