Ending the war – Cerise

5 Feb

Another entry for the 100 word challenge!

He woke up with a brilliant idea – he felt gloriously calm because he knew it would be a fresh start to end all this fighting and suffering. But the child was naive. He walked up to his room and closed the door. He slowly opened his record player and turned the music on – fast thundering music. It was really loud, but piercing through, he heard a gun shot. He went mad with anger, his face turned bright purple because he didn’t know what to do next. If music couldn’t stop the war, what could? He felt tears sting his eyes, but he knew he had to keep on trying.
